Same Day Registration

Same day voter registration bill signed by Culver

My first ever vote was a same day registration. I carried a letter addressed to my dorm room down to the student union at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and voted for William Proxmire for United States Senate.

I've waited 17 years for this, ever since the day I moved to Iowa from Wisconsin. Thank you, trifecta.
