Johnson County BBQ Gets Even More Crowded With McGovern Clinton Endorsement
The JCDems BBQ gets a blast from the past, and a likely lede for any national press in attendance, with confirmation that Hillary is bringing George McGovern in to make his endorsement. Can't think of a more McGoverny place to do it than here in the ole People's Republic.
The Gazette has it this AM, but it's been floating around the net for at least a week when ABC picked it up. Team Hillary hasn't been promoting it locally...
I'll have some live updates from the BBQ today, but mostly of the color and flavor nature. Iowa Indy is going to have a few other folks there too.
