National Journal: Interesting Iowa Rankings
Who's more liberal? Who's the most conservative? The National Journal counts the congressional votes and tells ya.
On the House side, it's confirmed: the late lost Leach was, in fact, the most liberal Republican in the House. Still, Most Liberal Republican still puts you in the middle, and with Progressive Caucus member Dave Loebsack we made a good trade up. And Jim Nussle to Bruce Braley is a huuuuge shift.
But here's the interesting part: Leach landed six spots higher than Iowa Democrat Leonard Boswell! Any Des Moines Dems have any comment on that?
On the Senate side Tom Harkin ranks as the number five liberal while Grassley is in the nondescript middle of the GOP pack somewhere.
